The great thing with hypnotherapy is, if you don’t want to talk about the past, you don’t have to.

What to expect

The First Contact

The first step on your journey is a 20 minute free call. This is a really informal chat that helps us get to know each a little better and find out whether we are the right people to work together.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can go ahead and book your first session.

The Initial Consultation

The first session is an assessment session, where I gather all the information needed to create you a tailored plan. It lasts up to 1 hour and is a safe space where we discuss your reasons for seeking help, your goals, and learn how hypnotherapy can help make positive changes in your life.

The Subsequent Sessions

Each 50-60 minute session can include talking therapy, CBT and hypnosis. We explore positive moments, challenges, and work together to help you overcome your struggles. The session includes deep relaxation, positive suggestion and visualisation to facilitate lasting change.

We'll focus on finding solutions to your problems without dwelling on the past.

Number of Sessions

CBH is a short-term therapy. After the initial consultation session the average number of sessions is 4-8.

While CBT and hypnotherapy can be quick and effective, it’s important to remember that there is no magic wand. Lasting change requires time and commitment. Investing in yourself and your mental health is worth it, I promise.

One of the reasons CBH is short-term is its highly proactive nature. Sessions require your active participation, practicing the discussed techniques and tools in your daily life.

Sessions are conducted weekly (worst case fortnightly). After your initial block of sessions, if you wish to continue we can then space the sessions out.
